Why does arsenal have so many injuries

In his first Premier League season he sustained a broken leg, leaving him out of the game for more than six months. Not once or twice has Arsene Wenger said that the only preparation he makes in terms of fitness is done in pre-season. This is understandable due to the heavy schedule in the Premier League and Champions League but considering the number of injuries throughout the season it is not a very successful tactic. A team usually needs a squad of no less than players. The young age of the squad could also be a problem when it comes to injuries.

Young players could be a bit overzealous at times and that could lead them to go into a tackle without judging the situation first, and thus injuring themselves or other players. International matches are also one of the main reasons players end up injured. Players that are predominantly strong are losing their value, because they are slow and just can't keep up with the fast ones.

That is why Arsenal have so many small and fast players now, and that is also the reason why there are so many injuries. I remember Tony Pulis and Stoke; The team based on strong players. They did alright, although they were criticized for medieval football, all the time. The best achievement for them was in mid table. They managed to get to FA cup finale, where they lost to Manchester City. All in all they were solid, but not anything special.

You could sense that Pulis was getting maximum out of them. How many injuries did Stoke had? Well they weren't in a league from , but they certainly didn't had injuries. When Arsenal had the likes of Viera and Gilberto, there weren't that many injuries. The point I was making and which you appear to have missed,is that unless it can be proven in law that members of the PGMOL are practising an anti-Arsenal attitude on the football field, there is little that can be done in order to put matters right.
