I chose 2 different paths in this book with 2 different outcomes and with each choice I made I realized that I am the type of person who will die trying to save the people I love and care for without hesitation.

In this book there are a lot of similarities as to the present virus we are dealing with. It is very hard to do a book review without giving away spoilers but I can say this "If you are a movement conspiracy theorist this book could be the proof you need to make your case.

I stumbled across the one "good" ending pretty early on, and after that all the other endings felt pretty similar. Your options were to catch the virus and die, or survive through some sort of isolation. The other stories I've read from this series seemed to have a bit more variety than this one.
