Comment by Jack posted on on 30 May Comment by john Lawrence posted on on 30 May Do we need an easier way to be taxed? We pay enormous taxes now and the burden goes up and up. I know there are dodgers and they need to be caught but most lawabiding citizens get caught up with some draconian decisions and some dont have phones or computors to sort out a bad deal. I can't see why you lot want to gloat about this, not better for the honest public who get swept up with all this chase for cash.
So now you have more ways of extorting money - You should be proud of yourselves which of course you are! Are you certain that you are not breaching the new Data Protection Regulations. I never asked you to contact me nor would I have given you permission.

Comment by Don MacGreggor posted on on 30 May This seems to be a good idea which hopefully I will not need. If a fine is levied will this method of payment be shown on the fine. Comment by Keith Toft posted on on 30 May While this is good news in a way , I hope that I never have to make use of this service although if I do it would appear to be a real timesaver to both parties involved. Well done. Comment by Chris Parker posted on on 30 May Please keep the telephone service for those difficult queries and those folk who have poor eyesight and poor internet access not everyone is internet savvy!
The telephone service is still available for those customers who wish to contact the Agency in this way. Comment by Jack Scott posted on on 30 May I have absolutely no interest in this life wasting article. Further, I am flabbergasted at the apparent sappy willingness of meek induviduals demostrated here within your claimed feedback and the comments to this item.
Almost all of your issued fines are outrageously and unjustifiably over priced revenue raising additional taxes. The main advantage is when you change a vehicle the customer is not being ripped off by losing a months tax, part on the old vehicle and part on the new vehicle. I would like to know how many tens of millions of pounds this scam nets a year.
If the government and politicians want to keep any respect it should not inflict scams like this on its captive customer base. Crooks and con men see things like this and vehicle crushing as making their criminal behaviour acceptable in their and their friends eyes. Best of all is no car tax, just add the cost to fuel tax after removing dvla and enforcement costs.
Comment by Brian Giddings posted on on 19 June Am I correct in thinking that it is still not possible to pay for such things as vehicle tax payments by on-line Bank transfer? I asked about this subject more than a year ago in a telephone call and was told that there were no plans, at that time, to enable this method of payment.
Surely it should be possible to do so in this day and age,.
